Well 2010 is already shaping up to be a busy year and we are already in March (where did the last two months go?). I'm going to be making several appearances over the year at various shows. After annoyingly missing Angouleme this year it's being made up by being a guest at SPX in Stockholm. Run by the lovely Kristiina Kolehmainen, the comic convention is taking place at the Kulturhuset in the centre of town on 23-25 April and there will be such luminaries as Paul Gravett and Peter Stanbury talking about the revival of their seminal Escape magazine and books brand; the ever amiable Chris Staros and Brett Warnock from Top Shelf, plus Dash Shaw (The Bottomless Belly Button), Peter Madsen (Valhall), Guy Delisle (Burma Chronicles) and many more!

Not only does Kristiina organise the SPX festival, but she also runs the Serieteket, the best comic book/graphic novel library—that's open to the public—that I've ever had the pleasure to browse.

I'll be there discussing the history of erotic comics and on hand over the weekend to talk about British creators.

For more info go to here.

I'll also be attending The Bristol Comic Expo on 22-23 May.

But before both of those, I'm going to be doing a talk on the life and times of bondage comics artist and pioneer, John Willie, at the Last Tuesday Society on 26 March. Come and have a listen to me whitter on alongside my chums Dave Mounfield talking about swearing and Dr David Brambwell discussing real life time travellers he met on holiday!

More appearance information will be updated soon!
